Who
is Christie?
🎓 In March 2024, I earned my Bachelor of Liberal Studies with multiple minors at UMPI. By Fall 2024, I had also completed my Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership at UMPI. In 2026, I went back to complete an Associate of Arts in Liberal Studies with a Business Administration concentration, mostly to walk in graduation and ensure I was staying up to date on the UMPI program as a student. I’m proud to be an Owl — and even prouder to have helped hundreds of others explore UMPI as a pathway to their own educational goals. 🦉
💼 Professionally, I lead the People Function at an EdTech company, where I’m passionate about equity in education and ensuring everyone has the tools and support they need to thrive.
Personally, I’m a mom to two young adult daughters — my oldest daughter graduated from UMPI with a BLS, minors in Business and Psychology (Summa Cum Laude) in Summer 2025. Outside of work and mentoring, you’ll usually find me traveling the world or spending a little too much on concert tickets. 🎶
